Food Technology 2021 moved to 16 en 17 juni 2021

Veldhoven/Zeist, Monday 9 November 2020

In consultation with exhibitors, speakers and other organisations involved, Food Technology will be moved from the winter to the spring of 2021. The new date is June 16 & 17. A new location has also been chosen: the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch.

The organizers of Food Technology 2021, knowledge and network organization Mikrocentrum and trade magazine EVMI have recently regularly polled the opinions and advice of (potential) exhibitors, speakers and other companies and institutions involved. The organization noticed that there was a need to reschedule the event, partly because of the developments and prospects surrounding the coronavirus. Potential exhibitors are enthusiastic about this new event but were hesitant to definitively register. Given the current situation, there are concerns whether it will be possible to organize a full-fledged trade fair with congress again in January. It is agreed that in June and on the wider exhibition location of the Brabanthallen a full event, corona trial can be organized.

Choice for the change of location

Safety for all people involved in Food Technology is paramount to the organization. In order to be able to offer all attendees at a sufficient distance, extra space is needed. Unfortunately, this extra space cannot be realized in the Koningshof, but it can be realized in the Brabanthallen, where, among other things, 5-meter wide aisles can be realized. This made the organization decide to organize Food Technology in 's-Hertogenbosch.

This is Food Technology 2021
