The journey of the food from farm to fork is becoming more transparent for a more efficient and fair supply chain, for more sustainable products and for a more personalized approach to consumers. One possible pathway is the digital exchange of the data of  processes and products. However, digital data-sharing alone is not sufficient as data requires proper and standardized descriptions to be machine-readable. This talk will be about how interoperable data offers big potential in cutting-edge software applications in Internet of Things using AI in agri-food domain.
