Smarter food chains and processing (lezing in het Nederlands)

Better analyses of data and uptake of advanced sensors within food chains and food processing result in smarter decisions. Data processing and analysing techniques provide real time access. Uptake of these technologies, as in Industry 4.0, PAT, smart food processing and others, can improve performance, including better resource efficiency, shorter release times and improved quality. Although many promising research examples exists, uptake faces several challenges still, such as performance in practice and workers trust. With knowledge on available technologies and data analytics, combined with expertise on food processing WFBR supports companies in further developments.
